Scenic Rail Pass

A Scenic Rail Pass is a 'Hop On/Hop Hop' travel pass that allows you unlimited to travel on New Zealand's long distance passenger train services between Auckland and Wellington, Christchurch and Greymouth and ferry sailings between the North and South Islands for the duration of the pass purchased.

Scenic Rail Pass includes -

*  7 Day pass - Unlimited train and ferry travel over 7 consecutive days
*  14 Day pass - Unlimited train and ferry travel over 14 consecutive days
*  21 Day pass - Unlimited train and ferry travel over 21 consecutive days

Scenic Rail Pass can be used to travel north to south or south to north.

Scenic Rail Pass is ideal for 1 to 4 weeks stay in New Zealand.

Scenic Rail Pass is suited for the independent traveller, families or small groups, who are travelling together on the same routes, to the same destinations.

Scenic Rail Pass can not be used on any suburban train service in Auckland or Wellington or on the Capital Connection train between Wellington and Palmerston North or the Wairarapa Connection between Wellington, Featherston and Masterton.

Scenic Rail Pass does not include any accommodation or long distance bus travel to other New Zealand destinations.

Scenic Rail Pass is valid for travel on all 3 train services and ferry travel from 27 September 2013 to 4 May 2014 only.
